There are a few crystals/stones that have protection abilities, one is the use of Chlorite with Carnelian, Amethyst and/or Ruby crystals has been used to eliminate psychic attack and to assist earth bound spirits to leave.

I have read several books on this and am hopeful of learning more about their usage....but think about it....we humans, plants animals and even the crystals and stones are all apart of this planet and maybe there is a good reason these are here for us. Maybe crystals and stones were put here for more than jewelery or to lay on the ground?? As I have stated...I am here to learn and this is one thing I'd like to know more about...

I tend to believe most of the powers of healing or protection are held within our own minds too. Its kind of like the whole placebo thing. If users or beholders think they got something magical or healing, they will tend to see results because they are looking for them. For example, if you live you life thinking that the #28 is a sign of some signigicance, you will see or hear a variation of #28 soooo many times each and everyday. Its weird like that but thats how it always seems to work. But I too dont ridicule anyone for believing in stones and gems as protections and such. Im just not 100% convinced.

Your correct, the powers of our mind are mighty, for example energy healing or Reiki. But sometimes they just need a "boost" from other objects. I have never seen anyone ward off spirits with just there mind if they are being haunted, they usually have something else to help them or someone banish the spirit for them. Psychic attacks can be dealt with both, crystals will help with that but also creating a shield with your own energy will block them. Crystals do hold their own energies (as with anything else) and each have special properties that will help your intention or do for you what is needed. I hope that made sense.

Blessings~

Yes that makes enough sense for me to understand anyways. lol. I do believe what your saying is true. Especially when being haunted or psychic attacked, any kind of protection is neccessary and helpful. I can see where supernatural beings or an unexplainable force of somekind has its own kyrptonite it must stay clear of. So Im going to say that with a few good protective crystals, some strong mind power and alot of prayer we can keep ourselves as safe as possible and all live happily ever after ;-)

I think crystals and stones have some innate properties, and that our minds and beliefs or energy can be boosted by them. Turquoise is good for protection, but I find that obsidian works best for me, particularly when it is polished and can reflect back negative energies.
